ASI is the world’s leading professional membership organisation in the adventure sports industry in the specialist areas of surfing, stand up paddle and bodyboarding activities. We provide training and accreditation services, for instructors, learn to schools and clubs.

Our mission is to develop high quality training programs and safe operating standards that are consistent and recognised throughout the world.

We provide career pathways for instructors, with training courses and professional development options, including multiple instructor qualifications, under the “one roof”.

We accredit learn to schools (adventure sports centres) so they can display the ASI accredited school logo, as a quality endorsement logo. Schools are provided with a total system that includes written procedure manuals, forms and guides to operate safe and effective operations, all available through their online member login.

We support not for profit clubs providing training programs, operational and competition guidelines and assistance.

We publish learn to programs complete with student books, manuals and workbooks and certificates, suitable for the general public and primary, secondary and college students – available through the ASI Accredited Schools.

ASI commenced operating in Australia in 2003 and has now expanded internationally with offices in the UK, USA, Bali and the Philippines.
